Robert Kiyosaki biography
Robert Kiyosaki is an American businessman and author, best known for his "Rich Dad Poor Dad" series of personal finance books. He has written several other books on finance and investing, and is known for his unconventional views on money and investing.
Kiyosaki was born in Hilo, Hawaii in 1947. He grew up in a working-class family and attended the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, where he received a degree in business administration. After graduation, he worked as a salesperson for Xerox and then started his own business selling denim jeans. He later entered the real estate market, buying and selling properties in the United States and abroad.
In 1997, Kiyosaki published "Rich Dad Poor Dad," which became a best-seller and launched his career as a personal finance author. In the book, he advocates for financial literacy and encourages readers to think outside the box when it comes to making and managing money. Kiyosaki has since written numerous other books on finance and investing, and has also developed educational products and seminars on personal finance.
In addition to his writing and business ventures, Kiyosaki is known for his philanthropic work, including the development of an educational program for children in the Philippines.
